Unfortunately true. Cid is entertaining, but it's one of those series where repeating the same gag starts to get tired after a while. I've been watching the show but had actually dropped the web novel in the past because Cid just wasn't that appealing despite the interesting premise.

I actually love it's character because he's op but he hides like he's a background character I just don't like the villains of it because it's so mid and the anime

It's no use, I gotta rewatch all other 3 seasons. Didn't even know we were all the way till the fourth already... This is what happens when they wait year and a half between each season, I remember mostly the first season, and that's it..

All the seasons have no relation to each other, I mean they are not in sequence. This is a fantasy anime that emphasizes on people's emotions a lot more then the fantasy and action itself

huh??? They do relate, it's an ongoing story and season 2 onwards had the first few episodes per season dedicated to backstory.

Well, I do remember the first season, remember Kyouka, and the skaato doctor, I also remember some prequel with very BeBoP like feels. So I feel like I'm still missing a season.

Nah, the anime always starts the season with few flashback of characters. It's interrupting the story flow.
In the manga, the plot is so smooth even when things get out of hands.

Hmmm.... Then I'll guess I'll go back to season 4.... Tho who knows, I don't recall the 3rd season very well... Or maybe it's the 2nd that I don't remember

There's some reality warping book hidden in Yokohama, and the Detective Agency and Port Mafia butt heads while defending the town from people that would burn it down to get to the book. Shenanigans ensue.

I'm afraid I need to rewatch all the other seasons again, I can't remember shit about the 2nd onwards.

The plot is so simple, you're watching the past through Atsushi's company boss and Detective Ranpo's pov.
